Ferrari 502

Ferrari 502 is a 17 oz. vinyl laminated polyester fabric with Custom Spun and Rain Kleen surface treatments. Ferrari 502 fabric combines high tear and tensile strength with high stress and stretch values. Ferrari 502 is fade resistant and waterproof. All Ferrari 502 fabrics are mildew resistant and flame resistant according to requirements of NYC Board of Standards and Appeals, Calendar 366-48 SM; California State Fire Marshall, Registration F.76.00. Ferrari 502 is covered by an 10 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Sunbrella

Sunbrella is a 9.25 oz. per square yard, solution dyed fabric.  Sunbrella, when properly cared for and maintained, will outlast any and all awning fabrics.  Sunbrella is available in a wide variety of solids and stripes. All lace bands shall be triple reinforced and fastened with #2 stainless steel grommets.  Sunbrella acrylic carries a 10 year warranty from the date of original installation which covers the fabric from becoming unserviceable because of loss of color or strength from normal exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew, rot and atmospheric chemicals.

All of our solution dyed acrylic fabrics have been tested and proven to provide up to 98% UV protection from the harmful effects of the sun depending on depth of color.

Whites and lighter colored fabrics provide less protection than darker fabrics, which have more depth of color. This protective factor is inherent to the fabric and will not be reduced by usage and/or fabric exposure to the sun. In addition lighter fabrics will repel slightly more heat than darker fabrics similar to white versus black paint on a vehicle.
